Dear Lord, we claim the promise that there will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. We trust that these events are part of your plan and that you will use them to bring about your purposes. We pray that in the midst of these terrors and great signs from heaven, we will remain steadfast in our faith and trust in you. Help us to be a light in the darkness and to share your love and hope with those around us. May we be a source of comfort and strength to those who are suffering and may we always remember that you are in control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
