Prayer based on Luke 13:26. Themes: Judgment, Accountability, Presence
Dear Lord,
I claim the promise that I will begin to say, “We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.” Thank you for being present in my life and for teaching me through your word and your Holy Spirit. I am grateful for the times when I have felt your presence and for the times when I have learned from your teachings.
I pray that I will continue to seek your presence and your teachings in my life. Help me to always remember that you are with me, even when I cannot feel you. Give me the wisdom and understanding to apply your teachings to my life and to share them with others.
Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that I will begin to say, “We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.” May I always be mindful of your presence and your teachings in my life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Then you will begin to say, ‘ We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
Luke 13:26
This is a Promise. The verse is a statement that those who have eaten and drank in Jesus’ presence and heard his teachings will begin to acknowledge and recognize him.
