Prayer based on Luke 12:27. Themes: Providence, Humility, Trust

Dear God, as I consider the lilies and how they grow without toiling or spinning, I am reminded of your provision and care for all of creation. Help me to trust in your provision for my life and to not worry about the future. May I also remember that even the great King Solomon was not as beautifully arrayed as these simple flowers. Thank you for your constant love and care. Amen.

Verse: Consider the lilies, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Luke 12:27
