Dear God, please help me to not be like the person who only lays up treasure for themselves and is not rich toward you. Help me to prioritize my life in a way that honors you and brings glory to your name. May I seek to store up treasures in heaven rather than on earth, and may my heart be filled with generosity and a desire to serve others. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the blessings you have bestowed upon me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Luke 12:21

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to be rich towards God instead of laying up treasure for oneself.
