Dear Lord, I claim the promise in Luke 11:22 that when someone stronger attacks me and overcomes me, you will take from me my whole armor in which I trusted, and divide my plunder. I trust in your strength and power to protect me from all harm and to provide for all my needs. Help me to always rely on you and to put on the full armor of God so that I may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the victory that is mine in Christ Jesus. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is describing what happens when a stronger person attacks and overcomes someone who trusted in their armor. The promise is that the stronger person will take the defeated person’s armor and divide their plunder.
