Prayer based on Luke 11:11. Themes: Provision, Fatherhood, Trust

Heavenly Father, I come before you today claiming the promise in your word. You have promised that if we ask for bread, you will not give us a stone, and if we ask for a fish, you will not give us a snake instead. Lord, I ask that you fulfill this promise in my life today. Provide for my needs and give me the sustenance I require. I trust in your provision and know that you will never let me go hungry. Thank you for your faithfulness and for always keeping your promises. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won’t give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
Luke 11:11

This is a Promise. The verse assures the reader that God will not give them something harmful when they ask for something good.
