Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that salvation is from the Jews. I acknowledge that I have worshiped things that I do not know, but I now choose to worship you, the one true God, whom I know. Thank you for revealing yourself to me and for offering me the gift of salvation through your chosen people, the Jews. I pray that I may continue to grow in my knowledge and love for you, and that I may always trust in your promises. Amen.
Verse: You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
John 4:22
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that salvation comes from the Jews and that the speaker’s group (presumably Jews) worship what they know. There is no command given to the reader.
