Prayer based on John 12:24. Themes: Death, Fruitfulness, Sacrifice
Dear Lord, I claim the promise in your word that unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. I pray that you help me to die to myself and my own desires so that I may bear much fruit for your kingdom. May my life be a testimony of your love and grace, and may I bring glory to your name through the fruit that I bear. Thank you for your promise and for the hope that it brings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
