Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that my heart can be glad and my tongue can rejoice. I claim this promise for myself today and ask that you fill me with joy and peace. May my flesh also dwell in hope, knowing that you are faithful and will never leave me nor forsake me. Help me to trust in you completely and to find my strength in you alone. Thank you for your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
