Praying from Acts 17:15. Themes: Evangelism, Obedience, Fellowship.
Dear Lord, we thank you for the example of Paul and his faithful companions who traveled far and wide to spread your message of love and salvation. As we read about their journey to Athens, we pray that you would guide us on our own paths and lead us to the people and places where we can make the greatest impact for your kingdom. We ask that you would give us the same sense of urgency and dedication that Paul had, and that you would help us to be faithful in carrying out your commands. We pray for Silas and Timothy, that you would bless them and keep them safe as they journey to Paul. May we all be united in our love for you and our desire to serve you. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Verse: But those who escorted Paul brought him as far as Athens. Receiving a commandment to Silas and Timothy that they should come to him very quickly, they departed.
Acts 17:15
