Praying from 2 Timothy 4:8 relating to Hope, Salvation, Judgment

Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for the promise that the crown of righteousness is stored up for me. I claim this promise today, knowing that you are a righteous judge who will give it to me on that day. I pray that you will help me to continue to love your appearing, so that I may be counted among those who will receive this crown. I pray that you will strengthen me in my faith and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the promise of eternal life with you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:8

This is a Promise. The verse promises that a crown of righteousness is stored up for the reader and all those who have loved the Lord’s appearing, to be given by the Lord on a future day.
