Dear Lord, help me to remember that as a soldier in your army, I should not entangle myself in the affairs of this world. May I always seek to please you, the one who has called me to serve. Give me the strength and wisdom to prioritize my life according to your will, and to resist the distractions and temptations that may come my way. Help me to stay focused on my mission and to be a faithful and obedient servant. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
2 Timothy 2:4
