Praying from 2 Peter 3:9 relating to Patience, Salvation, Repentance.

Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you are not slow concerning your promise, as some count slowness. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to trust in your timing and your plan. I thank you for your patience with me and for not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance. I pray that you would help me to live a life that reflects your love and grace, and that I would be a witness to those around me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

This is a Promise. The verse reassures the reader that God is not slow in fulfilling his promise and that he is patient, desiring that all should come to repentance and not perish.
