Dear Lord, in the midst of severe affliction, I pray that the abundance of joy and deep poverty in my life will lead to the riches of generosity. May my heart overflow with love and compassion for others, even in the midst of my own struggles. I claim the promise that you will provide for all my needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Help me to trust in your provision and to be a blessing to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
