Praying from 2 Corinthians 2:16. Themes: Salvation, Judgment, Sufficiency
Dear Lord, I am humbled by the power of your word. I pray that I may be counted among those who receive the sweet aroma of life, and not the stench of death. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you, so that I may be worthy of your grace and mercy. Give me the strength and wisdom to navigate the challenges that come my way, and to always choose the path that leads to life. I know that I am not sufficient for these things on my own, but with your help, I can do all things. Thank you for your love and guidance, and for the promise of eternal life. Amen.
Verse: to the one a stench from death to death, to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?
2 Corinthians 2:16
This is a Command. The verse is challenging the reader to consider whether they are capable of handling the weight of the message being conveyed, which is a message of life and death.
