Praying from 1 John 3:16 relating to Love, Sacrifice, Brotherhood.

Dear God,

Thank you for showing us what true love is through the sacrifice of your son, Jesus Christ. Help us to understand the depth of this love and to live it out in our daily lives. Give us the courage and strength to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters, just as Jesus did for us. May we always be willing to put others before ourselves and to love sacrificially.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
1 John 3:16
