Dear God, thank you for the assurance that we have passed out of death into life through our love for our brothers and sisters. Help us to continue to love and care for one another, so that we may remain in your light and life. Please forgive us for any times when we have failed to love our brothers and sisters, and help us to grow in our love for them. May we always remain in your love and grace, and may our love for one another be a testimony to your love and mercy. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Verse: We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.
