Dear God, I pray that you would open my heart and mind to receive the things of your Spirit. Help me to understand and discern your wisdom and truth, even when it may seem foolish to the natural man. Grant me the spiritual discernment to know your will and follow your ways. Thank you for your grace and guidance in my life. Amen.

Verse: Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him; and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:14

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader that the natural man cannot receive the things of God’s Spirit and cannot know them because they are spiritually discerned.
