Dear God, I pray that as a man, I may always remember that I am created in your image and that my head should not be covered. Help me to reflect your glory in all that I do and say. And as for women, may I always honor and respect them as the glory of man, recognizing their unique and valuable role in your creation. Amen.
Verse: For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
1 Corinthians 11:7
This is a Command. The verse commands men not to have their heads covered because they are the image and glory of God. It also implies that women should have their heads covered as a sign of submission to men.
