Dear God, please guide me in your truth and teach me. You are the God of my salvation and I trust in you. I wait for you all day long, knowing that you will lead me on the right path. Thank you for your love and guidance. Amen.

Psalms 25:5

This is a Command. The reader is being commanded to ask God to guide and teach them in His truth. The verse also implies a promise that God is the God of the reader’s salvation and that they can wait for Him all day long.
