Dear Lord, I claim the promise of forgiveness that you have given us in your word. I choose to forgive those who have wronged me, just as you have forgiven me. I trust that as I forgive, you will also forgive me. Help me to let go of any bitterness or resentment and to extend grace and mercy to those who have hurt me. Thank you for your presence in my life and for the power of forgiveness that you have given us through Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
