Dear Lord, please help me to be slow to anger and quick to forgive. Help me to be a peacemaker and to avoid stirring up contention. May I always seek to appease strife and bring harmony to those around me. Give me the strength and wisdom to control my emotions and respond with love and kindness. Amen.

Verse: A wrathful man stirs up contention, but one who is slow to anger appeases strife.
Proverbs 15:18
