Prayer based on Proverbs 3:18. Themes: Wisdom, Happiness, Salvation

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us in Proverbs 3:18. I pray that you would help me to lay hold of wisdom and understanding, so that I may be like a tree of life to those around me. May I be a source of encouragement, hope, and strength to those who need it most. I pray that you would help me to retain this wisdom, so that I may continue to grow and flourish in your love. Thank you for your promise that those who hold onto wisdom will be happy, and I claim that promise for myself today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.
Proverbs 3:18

This is a Promise. The verse is saying that wisdom is like a tree of life to those who embrace it, and that those who hold onto it will be happy.
