Prayer based on Proverbs 1:22. Themes: Wisdom, Knowledge, Mockery

Dear Lord, please help me to not love simplicity and to seek knowledge instead. Please guide me to not delight in mockery and to have a heart of compassion towards others. Help me to grow in wisdom and understanding, and to always seek your truth. Amen.

Verse: “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs 1:22

This is a Command. The verse is urging the simple ones to stop loving simplicity and the mockers to stop delighting in mockery, and to instead seek knowledge.
