Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heavy heart, remembering the many times I have been afflicted from my youth up. I pray that you would grant me the strength and courage to overcome these afflictions and to trust in your unfailing love and mercy. Let Israel now say, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as prey to their teeth.” May your name be praised forever and ever. Amen.
