Dear Lord, I claim the promise that my tongue will talk about your righteousness all day long. I pray that you will help me to always speak of your goodness and faithfulness, even in the face of those who want to harm me. May they be disappointed and confounded as they see your hand of protection over me. Thank you for your promise to never leave me nor forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse promises that the speaker will continually speak about God’s righteousness and that those who seek to harm the speaker will be disappointed and confounded.
